USARSUPTHAI ASSOCIATION

I had two tours to Thailand (1) Started out in Vietnam, and was one of seven enlisted personnel that came over by Merchant Marine Vessel with equipment for the 558th S&S Battalion, head to Kanchanaburi, to support the 46th Special Forces in training the Thai Black Panther's for Vietnam. This assignment was from 68-69. I was the supply clerk for HHC 558th S&S Bn. MOS 76Y

(2)  70th Aviation Detachment, station with the Royal Thai Air Force at Don Muang Air Base. Quartered at the Winstor Hotel in Bangkok, Mission was to support Vietnam. This assignment was from 72-74. I was the supply specialist for the detachment and later promoted to suppy sergeant just prior to ETS. MOS 76Y
